Fonti graduated from the University of East London in 2013 obtaining a First Class Bachelors of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine and won an award for the overall highest clinical grade achieved in her cohort.
Fonti is passionate about podiatry and has worked for some of the UK’s leading medical institutions including Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, Kensington and Chelsea NHS Trust, Westminister NHS Trust, Brent and Ealing NHS Trust as well as attending rotations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London’s St Martins-in-Field Homeless shelter and London’s leading Kings College Diabetic Foot Clinic.
Most recently, Fonti worked for Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust as a Specialist Podiatrist where she worked as part of an autonomous team covering clinics in Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, St. Albans and Harpenden, assessing and treating patients with a wide variety of foot complaints, including:
Nail and skin pathologies
Musculo-skeletal disorders and sports injuries
Prescribing and fitting orthotics (insoles)
Assessing and managing diabetic and high risk foot problems
Assessing and undertaking nail surgery
Providing wound care management
Fonti has treated a wide variety of patients ranging from children to the elderly, patients with special needs, vulnerable groups, housebound patients, terminally ill patients, diabetic patients, patients at high-risk of amputation and sports patients.

Fonti is a fully qualified Podiatrist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC registration no. CH33039) and is a member of the College of Podiatrists (formerly known as the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists).
